Windows 10 will be free for pirates too, with some limitations

Microsoft has finally confirmed that windows 10 is for real and most probably launched this summer in 190 countries and 111 different languages. Terry Myerson- Microsoft’s Executive President of Operating Systems confirmed the news speaking at an event in  in Shenzhen, China.

Microsoft’s windows 10 technical preview is already available and one can get a copy for themselves via the window’s insider program for free. But we do not recommend the build as the current build might have some bugs and if you are not an experienced user who can troubleshoot the errors, it might get you into trouble and result in loss of your personal data and information.

We already know that Microsoft will be incorporating lots off exciting features and capabilities with the new Microsoft Windows 10, one of them being Cortana. Cortana is a voice search service like Siri from apple or Google now from Google.

Microsoft in January stated that windows 10 will available to all the users worldwide running a PC with sufficient configuration to run windows 10. That means all the users that are using a pirated version of windows on their system will be able to upgrade to windows 10 for free. That’s what Microsoft stated in January.

But, now Microsoft claims that the upgrade will be free but the upgraded operating system might not be completely genuine and the users might have to face some limitations for upgrading to windows 10 for free from a pirated operating system. Microsoft is planning to incorporate a feature in the new Microsoft store that will allow the pirated users to get a fully licensed and legit copy of windows 10 after they have upgraded.

This totally sounds right, this huge step from Microsoft not only help decrease piracy but also in uniting the common platform for computing. Because since the windows will be free everyone will most likely update to it and if they are impressed with the OS, most of them will be willing to loosen some money from their pocket to enjoy the features and usability the operating system brings along.

Microsoft is also said to get into partnership with major PC/laptop manufacturers in china to promote the release and use of Windows 10 in their upcoming products.

So, lets see what Microsoft has in their store for all the Windows lovers out there.
