Truth Behind Microsoft Windows 11 Release

The Microsoft operating system’s journey began with Windows 1, and now it looks like Windows 10 is where it might end. It has been more than 5 years since we have been using the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, and that’s why many people are predicting the release of Windows 11. However, the truth is that Microsoft won’t be releasing the further version of windows, meaning that Windows 10 is the latest and will be the last version released by Microsoft.

So, when is the windows 11 release date? Unfortunately, Microsoft will not release any further version of Windows after Windows 10. Alternatively, Microsoft plans to churn out constant updates and improvements to the current Windows 10 operating system. And it’s next major update is called Windows 10 20H2.

A few months back, some rumors were made that the latest edition of Windows 11 will launch in August 2020. This latest operating system will be open to the public by upgrading the previous Windows version, which was completely fake.

Microsoft states that the final release of the famous operating system mounted on over 90 percent of machines will be Windows 10.

The reason why Microsoft doesn’t want to upgrade to Windows 11 is very simple. They don’t want to provide any difficulties to their use while moving from windows 10 to windows 11. Back in 2009, when Microsoft launched Windows 7, some users could easily migrate from Windows XP to Windows 7 but some users could not understand the new features of Windows 7.

Microsoft faces lots of difficulties in convincing people to use windows 7. After some years, Windows 7 was doing great, and then Microsoft again introduces Windows 8, which was not a great success.

Microsoft faced lots of problems and difficulties with windows 8,  as it was not user-friendly, and time and again, users were reporting lots of issues in Windows 8. Microsoft again had to launch Windows 8.1, which also didn’t do any great to improve their mistake. Finally, in 2015, Windows 10 was launched, and after 2 years, most Microsoft users have started using Windows 10.

So, from Windows 8 to Windows 10 Microsoft has to face lots of difficulties, and they have already spent lots of money on those upgrades. So, now they have decided not to release any upcoming version of Windows. Instead of that, they will upgrade the necessary features in the current version of Windows 10.

Now Microsoft is adopting its competitor Apple’s approach of sticking with a single operating system and then upgrading the same operating system within 6 months or 1 year. This approach will help the user to use their OS easily and more comfortably. So, let’s see the features that we might get in the upcoming days from Microsoft Windows.

What’s New in Upcoming Windows Update :20H2

You might see the new update of Windows 10 rolled out to all the users in the first half of 2021. The following are some of the upcoming features that you might get in the new update of Windows. However, we cannot guarantee that this feature will be the final feature of Microsoft.

Improved Sound Setting

Now you can manage your device more easily with this upgraded sound setting. Microsoft is now introducing to the sound configuration panel more conventional Control Panel functionality. The Setting > System > Sound > Manage Sound Devices page now informs you which sound unit is the default one and chooses the default one.

Improved Edge Web Browser

Sadly, we bid farewell to Internet Explorer. Microsoft will be default install the new version of Microsoft edge built on chromium. Edge also connects with the Cortana Digital Assistant to offer voice control, browse, and customized information to customers. Now Microsoft is trying to upgrade its web browser, making it a good competitor for chrome.

Improved Graphics Setting

If you have a machine with several high-performance GPUs, the Graphics Configuration page now gives even more power in the Settings app. To check the graphics setting in your device, go to setting> system> display> graphics setting. After this update, you will be able to select the specific GPU for different separate applications.

Upgraded Disk Management Setting

In the future upgrade of Windows 10, Microsoft will replace a classic disk management system with the new system. This new upgraded system will help you to view the disk information, format them, create volume, and assign the drive letters. This new integrated system will also let you combine different drives. But if you like the current disk management system, don’t worry because you can use your old disk management system.

Storage Health Monitoring

Windows 10 also has a disk health monitoring functionality that can alert you anytime if your system storage disk comes at a risk of failure. It’s designed to work with NVMe SSDs. Ideally, it should alert you if you have one of these drives and allow you enough time to back up your data before the drive fails.

In the past, Microsoft users have to face some problems because they could not deliver proper services, and time and again, the users have to move from one version of OS to the next version.  Microsoft is now very stable and provides all the necessary updates that a user needs in the same operating system.

There are a lot of bug fixes and security patches, as well. Microsoft also has some months to go, but we expect more features to show up before the actual update. As Microsoft continues to work on what will be the “May 2021 Update” or “Spring 2021 Update,” we will keep updating this post.

Finally

Talking about the windows 11 update, currently, there is no official announcement from Microsoft. However, we cannot stop the creativity and prediction of Microsoft fans designing the upcoming features of windows on their own. We can even see up to windows 20 and the whole new futuristic concept in some sites and YouTube videos. But there is more than an 80% chance that now Microsoft won’t be releasing any new version of windows.

We are expecting more features to be announced in windows 10, so stay tuned for more details. If you have any queries, leave a comment for us because your opinions are valuable. I hope you have enjoyed reading this article.
