Rooting a android phone is one of the most hyped topic when it comes to customizing an android phone or installing different applications that unleash your phone’s full performance capabilities. But how to root android phone without computer ??? Yes rooting is usually done via PC, connecting your phone to the PC and running bunch of different application to get into the super user mode or unleashing all the capabilities of the phone and actually making all the features accessible to the phone’s user.

What is rooting???

In the simplest way possible, rooting means removing the administrative privileges from the device’s operating system as a result which will allow the phone’s user to edit, customize and handle even the deepest storage or functional parts or sections of that phone.

We all know, that android OS detects any apps that might not be suitable and is from an untrusted author. Using Farmaroot To Root Android Phone Without Computer

Farmaroot is an android rooting application developed by one of the senior members of the XDA Forums. This app is capable of rooting your android phone in just a single click. This is one of the widely used rooting app for android phones, and has very good success rate among different users.

Farmaroot installs Superuser and su binary on your android phone/tablet and uses exploits to root your phone. The names for the exploits have been inspired from the Lord of the rings heroes and are Gandalf, Boromir, Pippin, Legolas, Sam, Frodo, Aragorn and Gimli. You can select any exploit and carry on the exploit. You might have to try some of these exploits before you will actually find the right exploit for your phone.

Using Towelroot

Towelroot is one of my favorites when it comes to rooting a phone. Maybe be because this was the first app i ever used to root my Samsung Galaxy s5 (Kitkat) and it succesfully rooted my phone on the very first attempt. But i was not able to root it again after i updated to lollipop. So, you should definitely give towelroot a shot and see how it does.

Open up towelroot.com on your phone browser and click the lambda sign thats on the screen and follow the procedure from there. Its pretty simple.

Using Kingroot

Kingroot is another widely used android phone rooting application. Like any other major rooting application you have the option to do it via a PC or directly from your phone.

Kingroot currently supports over 100,000 devices and to see if your device is supported or not, Go to this link and check for yourself. If you see that your device is supported, proceed further.

  • Install kingroot application by downloading the apk file from the xda-developers forum from here.
  • After installation, open the kingroot app.
  • On the homescreen if your phone is not rooted it should say ” Root access is unavailable”. And if the phone can be rooted with the app, you should see a button that reads “TRY TO ROOT”. Tap on the button.
  • As this process might take some time, sit back and relax.
  • If the process was successful, you should see “Root successfully” with a big green tick.
